    It turns out Aniimo the free to play game on Steam is as great as the commercials say. It also is giving away free drops on Twitch this week. Also, World of Warcraft is doing promotion on Warcraft Forever, and I just got many free drops after watching the videos on my phone when logged in to normal retail World of Warcraft. I was just about to delete my Twitch account because it had been boring. It is boring no longer as of this week. The free game loot is flowing overtime in Twitch this week!

    Happy Birthday to Alexandria Menzies who I went to Octoberfest and Jason’s Deli for birthday party lunch. It was particularly important for Anne to have a nice day before she had to go into the hospital. We ended up not staying at the Octoberfest as the vendor prices and nasty food were horrible. It reminded me that every cell in my body hates the downtown area of Richmond, Virginia. My review is that all of Virginia rates one star for having horrible music and food. I still love seeing music and eating, but going on road trips to other states is the one way to be near anything good.

    I am going to be out of contact with the public for a while. My mom is going into chemo therapy this week and my family has to help her go to doctors appointments. I will not be doing calls, book clubs, podcasts or anything non-essential while this goes on for a while.

    Pretty much true of downtown music scenes everywhere. Parking, gas for travel, cabs, dinner, and seeing a bands used to cost less than $20 a night. Now at far greater rates than pay has risen every part of downtown across the USA is a con-artist crime pit. I now know why Europe has raves in warehouses not music venues as music venues can be attacked out of existence by government regulations. Yes you can meet bad people at clubs, but you could also meet them at grocery stores or libraries. Are they ALL going to be witch hunted next?

    Happy Star Trek Day to All!

    Star Trek the TV show had the first episode aired on September 8, 1966. In El Paso, TX where I lived as a kid the show was on all the time. I didn’t know until later-on that Gene Roddenberry the creator was from El Paso and used to shop at the mall by my house. This is why I still have Star Trek dolls around my room to this day.

    *Note: I was just rewatching the Heroes TV show and noticed how many Star Trek characters were in Heroes including George Takei. Strange how some people have the career of 50 people.

  • Elysium Dead

    I can’t believe they are destroying the Elysium in Austin, TX. Valhalla was bad but Elysium sucks more in comparison. The venue was highly rated as “The Best of Austin” by newspapers. I was a regular there for years before I moved to the horrible place that is Virginia. They are making having a social life unaffordable everywhere.

    Do you like the social chat of MMO games, but hate the violent grind of killing one million orcs and animals to level up professions? You should try Palia, the game available on PC and most gaming stations. It has the hunting of World of Warcraft. It has catching moth insects like Pokemon. It has farming items and putting them in bins like Stardew Valley. It also lets you make an amazing house, and lets you videotape building the house for the internet like the Sims. I will compare it to my most loved World of Warcraft book for a review in my next Patreon video.
