  • Season 1 Episode 7 – So You Want To Start A Podcast

    By Andrea Menzies 08/11/2026

Welcome to the FH7 Publishing review podcast. I am the main host Andrea Menzies and I am back from a break. My mom Anne Brockett was sick this month, and needed many rides to the hospital for surgery. In addition, I helped to feed her dogs and get her mail while she was sick. I am now back from the break, and I am taking classes and doing podcasts again.

Welcome to the Frozen History Seven Publishing book review podcast. I am your host Andrea Menzies here to talk about the FH7 book club’s latest book reviewed. This is the Season 1 Episode 7 of the new season that has restarted distribution on Spotify. The advertisements are on Spotify, but the main show as always is on Patreon at the URL https://www.patreon.com/c/FH7Productions7 and the name on Patreon FH7books.com to look up our information. For low fees like 1 dollar you get the podcast, but at the higher tiers you get access to Udemy classes on Discord links. In addition all 20 dollar donations get 1 free page of advertisement in our upcoming book on podcasts for the 2025-2026 year of podcasts. The staff of FH7books.com makes a book on tips and tricks for making your own podcast. It is a class on how to make your own podcast work best. We use our year of podcasts as examples for your own work.

My mom is feeling better, and has returned home. Many thanks to the friends and family that helped me watch her house and dogs while she was gone in the hospital. #feelinbetter

  • Myspace Comeback

    By A. Menzies 08/09/26

I really hope the real Myspace makes a comeback. ABC news said they were back in a story. In fact I never quit using Livejournal. Algorithm free online posting was a far better way to read people’s posts online. There is a Boondocks show episode where a musician wants to have fans over for a party, and a kid posts it to Myspace. A huge party packed with people afterwards results. People forget online posting was fun once. #myspacereturn

In theory algorithms were going to show you the top posts of your friends and family. They would weed out the spamming they claimed. Instead they doubled the spam posts, and hid the friends posts. Net trolls and hate mongers thrive in algorithms. Nothing has stepped up to fill the void of old Facebook as new FB is non-stop spam daily and Instagram is only a Facebook clone.

I remember that Myspace had issues as well. People would fight about friends in the top 8 list. Users would make a Myspace they never updated, and dead people still had profiles up. People married with 4 kids had a Myspace up that said single from high school. If Myspace makes a comeback it needs to delete inactive profiles this time around. #inactivedelete

  • Black and Purple

    By Andrea M. 08/02/2026

New Black and Purple House – how to make the beach spooky at Heartopia. Anyone can make a Halloween game dark and artsy, but it is a challenge to make the cutie games moody and dark! I am not the one person doing this task. I have seen 8 scary cathedral houses today, and they have the best prizes at the prize doors. I am glad I found a game as hypnotic as Heartopia right as my family is having issues so I can keep from dwelling on the stressful and negative.

P.S. My screen name is Poedaughter7 at user ID 2rky87n9 for chat.

  • Get Well Soon

    By Andrea Menzies 07/29/26

My mom Anne has cancer and starts the surgery this week. She will have many rounds of surgery and chemotherapy for the issue. I had to have surgery this week at the hospital as well. I need everyone to wish us “get well soon” this week. Bad health issues have been hitting us hard this week. #2026 Cancer Surgery #cancersucks

  • Playing Heartopia

    By Andrea Menzies

I am playing Heartopia now so add me to friends if you are also playing. It is on smartphone apps and steam PC for free. It is a Hello Kitty nostalgia based game like Animal Crossing, but has more chat features. It only started up January of 2026 so it is still a wild frontier. Note: FH7 Publishing does not just do book reviews, but reviews of games based on books. Pokemon is a game that has books and comic books associated with the product.

This month every person who plays video games has one soap opera question on their mind, and it is what the heck happened with Palworld and Pokemon’s Nintendo? Nintendo has beautiful art and games it has made, and it sued another company for making a game called Palworld like their games. Can they do this? There is a phrase that fits the issue at hand, and that is the legal phrase “fair use” in art. The famous author Immanuel Kant once famously said. “The dilemma of postmodernism is that all art is collage.” This means all art has a bit of other art in it, and we are all standing tall on the shoulders of giants. How much can one work of art look like another before it is just basic copying? Fair use is defined as the following idea. “Reasonable and limited use of copyrighted material so as not to infringe upon copyright.” (Dictionary.com, 2026). I find this interesting because when I first posted a few of my favorite pictures and drawings online in blogs, internet trolls said “that is not yours” if it looked anything like another drawing. If you make it with different paint and changes to it YES, it is your own work even if it is styled like another drawing. Art has stylized techniques used frequently, and very untalented people like to put artists down saying their art is basic copies. This month Palworld won the lawsuit against Nintendo, and video game fans rejoice at being free to play the version they like best.
