    URL Change

    By Andrea Menzies

Long live FH7Books.com at WordPress the old URL at FH7publishing.com is dead. Podcasts and other posts are now on FH7Books.com forever. The GoDaddy webpage started to block all users, and was not cheap. I tried moving it to cheaper hosting in a gamble for better service and lost. I only bought a webpage to save photos to someplace other than social media as lawsuits like the one mentioned in the NPR Facebook Contagion article https://www.npr.org/sections/alltechconsidered/2014/06/30/326929138/facebook-manipulates-our-moods-for-science-and-commerce-a-roundup show many forms of social media are VERY harmful. First I just saved pictures on my computer, but a crash destroyed many. Then Yahoo email photos, then Flicker, then Photobucket, then Dropbox, then Facebook, then Google, then Instagram. The flavor of the week changes daily, and one account hack can destroy thousands of photos forever. Google just tried to lock me out of Google drive this month. I am on my fourth Facebook account as abusive ex-boyfriends with tiny computer hacking skills have stalked me on the Internet trying to destroy my social media pages. WordPress.com is the one place in years that has NOT destroyed my digital photos, but it lacked space on the free plan. Now it is my private webpage plan to save years of photos, and to make a personal webpage that is useful again. I will resume doing podcasts as the web transfer hassle ends.

    Facebook Emotional Contagion Study

    By Andrea Menzies

How are so few people talking about the about the Facebook Emotional Contagion Study where about 700,000 people had their posts manipulated with lies by Facebook, and courts said it was okay due to terms of service saying they can conduct research? I am taking night school classes. Part of the homework was to take the ethics class online at the CITI Program on Social and Behavioral Research clinical section. Some parts of the certificate discussed the Hippocratic Oath and medical privacy which made me want to study healthcare really badly. Some of it discussed unethical practices in clinical research and one part was “Internet-Based Research-SBE” by Alejandro Martinez with a section called “Facebook Emotional Contagion Study and considerations it raised for future researchers and IRB” saying it was lawsuit worthy unethical. I passed the class with all A grades. There were so many lawsuits about lies on Facebook made by Facebook. Why are so few people talking about how Facebook is killing people as lab rats? It is written into their terms of service that they can just manipulate people for research whenever they feel like it. They received no consent from users to do research other than information buried in the terms of service. I quit Facebook before, but I went back on because several of my Texas friends got sick in the hospital and it was the only way to say get well soon. Now I am limiting my posts again because people are highly underestimating how evil Facebook truly is daily. If your phone goes dead there are few printed maps, and no phone books as people have traded most all paper printed information for the digital print. Is that really such a great idea? Before Trump people thought the lies were no big deal. It is becoming lawsuit worthy daily.

  • Wave Goodbye

Wave Goodbye to the good old WordPress URL of https://frozenhistory7publishing.wordpress.com/ as my main webpage of Fh7publishing.com is down due to the URL being the new WordPress home for FH7publishing. Now instead of the page having a link to my blog, my blog will just BE at the URL. The page is down due to a webhosting site migration. Godaddy was the service I was using, but I have used WordPress longer in comparison to Godaddy, and their prices and service have become really bad. In contrast, WordPress hosting and email has become better and cheaper. Goodbye many online mirror pages, and hello more streamlined posting and e-mailing from the great JetPack app on my phone.

  • Got Badge

    Got Badge

    By Andrea Menzies

I got my new badge from my teaching job this week. I have been asked by people why I quit my teaching job to do podcasting. The answer is I have not quit teaching! I currently work as a teacher, podcaster, author, and am going to Grad school at night where I have made A grades. However, the economy is so bad, and the cost of living is so horrible I am still broke. This may be the point that is confusing so many people. #costoflivingbad

New badge as I am still a teacher.

    By A. Menzies

    *Updates on Tuesdays.

This is a throwback episode to the Podbean Podcasts before we were on Spotify. Check us out at the link below and like and subscribe. The full episode and blog text will be on Patreon for people in the know. The episodes are being reposted so they can go into the 2025/2026 book on podcasts being made for Amazon this month. The episode re-posted this week is on the series for Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children. It should be noted I bought this series one by one when they were far cheaper than the series has become as a collectors item.

    New Puter

    By Andrea Menzies

*Note the Tuesday review podcast is late by a day due to computer crash and reboot.

It was tax refund time, and my old computer crashed. I sprang for an HP Victus laptop. I have gone back to a master’s degree night school program, and have hundreds of reports to write. The same processors that can play games well can also write, type, and print better as I need that badly for grades. Grades get money, scholarships, and jobs eventually. Part of my brain says “no don’t spend money,” but another part says “if you buy cheap you get cheap, and buy twice.” I will write the full review later as I just finished unboxing the thing and it is charging.

  • Episode 4 Season 1 – Sims Spell-Caster Vampires

    By Andrea Menzies

*This podcast now updates on Tuesdays.

Intro: Sims 4 is a popular video game with spell-casters and vampires. Did you know people can play a spell-caster mixed with a vampire and many other occult types? The FH7podcast reviews books and videogames with book connections. On Tuesdays we do a podcast at FH7 with videos. See more about how the story of Sims 4 mixes these two magical occult stories, and how to place food in nightclubs at https://www.patreon.com/cw/FH7Productions7 #Sims 4, #Spell-Caster mixed with Vampire.

Sims 4 is an ultra-popular video game where people can make a millionaire dream life and compare photos of it online with other users. If you buy the vampire pack you can play vampires. If you buy the spell-caster magic pack you can do magic. The problem is if you buy both they are so fun it is hard to pick what things you will give your main characters! Fortunately, you don’t have to! Here are a few tips and tricks that I wish I had known when playing spell-caster vampires. Use the cheat menu on a spell caster, and you can give it a vampire energy bar. They will be able to drink blood and order blood packs on the computer and drink them. The spell-caster vampires also never age, and burn in full daylight when not under an umbrella or tree. If you love vampire characters get the seasons pack so the characters can have umbrellas. Surprisingly the characters do not glitch out too bad, and use all the spells like Copypasto, and Repairo well using vampire energy to power the spells. Spell-caster vampires can no longer rise in vampire ranks, and cannot become master vampires. They can make vampire drinks at the bar, and know vampire secrets.

To make a spell caster vampire:

Press Ctrl + Shift + C (then enter)

Type testingcheats true (then press enter)

    Type traits.equipt_trait_OccultVampire  (then press enter)

Poof, vampire bar is now in the spell-caster menu!

If you have a vampire, you must have them cure their vampire state, turn them into spell-casters, and then re-add the vampire trait. In this way you can complete both the storylines in the game, and use all items in both packs. Unfortunately, if you try to put vampires in a house with non-vampire spell-casters they will try to eat them to death. Have a vampire reach high level vampire lore, gather 5 garlic, and make a garlic braid. This braid will protect non-vampires in the house from bites. Give all magic users brooms and set to “always use brooms” so they can power up magic spells. Vampire spell-casters can also eat food. You can place food at nightclubs by pressing edit when in night-club mode, and type in the search “stall” for food stalls to turn all night clubs to restaurants.

A good book to compare and contrast this video game’s details to is called “Press Stat The History of Video Gaming” by Erwan Cario. A visually stunning book available on Amazon that talks about the roots of video games from 1958 until modern day with details on Sims, Minecraft, and Fortnite.

*Note the audio part of this podcast is behind a pay-wall at Patreon.com listed at FH7publishing.com

This podcast video demo shows spell casters, and how to place food stalls at music clubs in the game.

  • No Out Bird

    No Out Bird

    By Andrea Menzies

No going out for me this weekend. Internet friends were meeting me at a concert and music night in Maryland, and I was going to be free as a bird. Yet I have gone back to school, and have several papers due this week. Going back to night school means cutting back on fun, and not just saying you are making good grades online. Guess I am going to be an angry bird for a while.
