Pretty much true of downtown music scenes everywhere. Parking, gas for travel, cabs, dinner, and seeing a bands used to cost less than $20 a night. Now at far greater rates than pay has risen every part of downtown across the USA is a con-artist crime pit. I now know why Europe has raves in warehouses not music venues as music venues can be attacked out of existence by government regulations. Yes you can meet bad people at clubs, but you could also meet them at grocery stores or libraries. Are they ALL going to be witch hunted next?
