I got a BA University degree, and found out I was pregnant less than 2 months after graduation. Part of the reason I earned less after earning a University degree was I could not find low priced daycare for a child with a disability for years. Yes schools need to warn students more about the bad job market. Yes schools also need to have better and more aggressive job placement and job search for graduates. How about lowering the massive price of education? How about offering free childcare to all University and technical school graduate women? None of this is offered. This move is about destroying the paths to empowerment and jobs for all working class women instead of helping education at all. #studentloancuts
*Note: All the professions that would be hurt most are female dominated industries. Art, cosmetology, social work, and I have talked to many teachers it is NOT just teaching aide jobs it is full teachers at risk. This is a war on women.
