  • Park Day

Thanks to the park fitness club for not being mad at me today after I was late. I was sick, but felt better by later in the day. I was feeling better, but got bad symptoms again that night. This flu season no one smells like roses.

  • Sad Story 2

It was horrible news that a truck killed one of my Texas friends this week on I-35. It made me very homesick to visit Texas. They were a friend from Elysium in Austin I knew from my student years when I graduated University. I have loved spending time with my family in Virginia, and lunches with bike groups in Virginia. However the last 8 times I went out at night downtown in Virginia people tried to take money from my purse, people tried to drug my drink, con-artists swarmed me, gang fights broke out next to me, and gunfire rang all night. Every person I have tried to date in Virginia has been horribly abusive verbally and physically. Nights out for concerts in DC, Baltimore, Austin, and New Orleans have been great for music and nice friends for me in the past few years. It is therefore my vow and New Years Resolution NEVER to go out at night in Virginia again, and if a good band is on tour I will ONLY see them in a town outside Virginia. I will NEVER date a Virginia person again. If constantly going on road trips and train trips on the weekends is what I have to do, then it is what I have to do. The death of my friend reminded me that I had more and better friends every time I was not in Virginia. The government needs to spend more on clean and constantly running public transportation so that people do not have to get killed by trucks. I traveled internationally in my teenage years, and other countries far more poor than the USA have clean trains you can take bikes on everywhere at all hours. Uber is a tiny band-aide on the gushing wound that is a horrible transport system in the USA. The working class has to suffer as the rich have private airplanes and limousines taking them everywhere. The rich in private airplanes then vote on how much money is spent on public transportation, and make it worse every year. This spending cycle creates a horrible death toll daily.

  • Bike Kick

The problem with being on a bike kick is it is hard to do in winter.

  • Top School Photos of the Week

I am still employed as a teacher, and here are my top School Photos of the Week before Thanksgiving Holiday Break 2023.

  • Sunset Bike Ride

Sunset biking at the nearby park meet-up group ride Sunday in November.

  • Phone Dead

My phone fell out of my bag and got smashed. I will not be returning phone calls this week, but I am not ignoring people. My new replacement phone is in the mail now my number will not be changing. The timing of this sucks due to it being almost Halloween, and I have many activities to do this time of year.

  • Birthday Well Wishes

Thanks in advance to all well wishers of a Happy Birthday on the 7th of October! Birthdays make me realize how far I am from better towns where nicer people gave me amazing parties. I am far from my REAL home in this town most obviously on my birthday.

  • Strange Mail

    The Strange Letter

Weeks ago when I was super sick with Covid someone named Micheal tired to tell me there was something wrong with my car. I had never told them about the make and model of my car, or let them walk me to my car so how did they know anything happened with it? Creepy stalker crap this seemed to be. Then another strange thing happened with my mail. The Mercury club in Seattle, WA wanted to offer me a membership. I applied for membership YEARS ago when I was visiting my aunt Trish living in Bothell a suburb of Seattle, and they said I lived too far away. I had never given The Mercury my new address, and yet mail had been forwarded from one of my older Virginia addresses to me! How did they MAIL that crap? How is Virginia LESS far? Stalkers-stalkers all around! Proof positive people are sharing information about me behind my back, and getting it wrong.

I am a domestic abuse survivor, and have had many ex-boyfriends many times steal money from me, punch me bloody in the face, and stomach. People on the Internet need to STOP forking information over to “friends” who say they want to “help” women in that stalker criminals say that sort of thing too ALL the TIME. The Internet is sadly a treasure trove of dangerous information and misinformation. I have been to some great night clubs, with fun nights, and had good relationships in other areas. In Virginia the clubs are nothing but con-artist abuse factories for bad men meeting new victims. This is why I go on SO MANY road trips out of state, and go FAR away to be social as often as I can hit the road by car, or Amtrak, or road bike. This is why I keep a P.O. box far from my home. An important aspect of data privacy many Internet chat boards forget to mention is do not use home addresses. Simply put don’t talk about women’s personal information behind their back you are NOT helping them, and getting it very wrong.

  • Cafe Birthday Dinner

Alexandria Menzies had her birthday party dinner today. We had Italian food at a really good place called Basilico before we dropped her back off at the University of Washington campus covered in mountain bikes. It really inspired me to fix up my bike again.
