  • Teacher Week

I look at teacher week with squinting eyes of suspicion. I eat the pizza but see the irony.

  • Cursed Child

I just started reading the Cursed Child Harry Potter book, and it is really good. The part where Hermione turns into a new evil Dark Arts teacher is so far my favorite.

  • The Planet’s Return

The Planet’s Return! I decided to return to Planet Fitness gym this week. It may have issues, but it was not as expensive as the money grubbing gyms I have been dealing with as an alternative. National chain gyms are great for road trips in RVs or traveling vans as you can shower at the gym as you travel minimizing the need for expensive hotel showers. I dream daily of leaving Virginia in an RV as I dislike my family moving to this area. I am a bit concerned that it has anti-crime logos everywhere as Planet Fitness gyms in Texas did NOT do that, and it hints at need for concern.

  • Posters of the Week

Top posters of the week from my teaching jobs in the area.

  • Top Teacher Posters Of The Week

These are the top classroom posters from the teacher assignments I worked this month in Virginia. I am always amazed at all the personalities of teachers on display at schools I work for every week.

  • February 2 and Groundhogs

February 1st and 2nd were once holidays for a goddess and Saint Brigid of divination and milk in ancestral history. Some of her animals helpers were groundhogs, badgers, and hedgehogs and this is why we predict the weather with groundhog divination on the second. Lighting a candle, making crosses, straw dolls, straw doll beds, and other traditions are good luck between February 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of the month. I found interesting documentaries from museums in Canada and Ireland last night online as well as photos. As a history minor at University it is interesting to me what old world traditions end up crossing over into modern day.

  • Teacher Jokes

Top teacher jokes from my teaching assignment jobs this week. Some days it seems like 90 percent of my job is keeping Chromebooks working.

  • A Week

Oh no A Discovery of Witches is only free on Amazon Prime for one more week.

  • The Shot 2

At long last I got my third Covid booster shot today at Walgreens. Better late then never… Walgreens kept rescheduling me.

  • 4 Walls And A Door Key

I am not the only one who has noticed getting 4 walls, and a door key of your own in many areas has become something of a horrible joke. I did not make this online joke, but I feel the pain this week.
