My friend Sam from Louisiana is visiting DC this weekend, and we get to hang out! I graduated with my first University degree from Loyola New Orleans so I am sentimental about seeing my New Orleans friends. My University student ID and Library card is the photo there.
Due to the bad snow storm headed in Saturday we are going to DC Thursday.

I just got news that Anne, Alexandria, and I are going to D.C. next Friday and Saturday to see the museums and trees in bloom. Overnight trip with hotels for spring break!

This is an online cartoon-parody political cartoon of “Trump Unbars Elephant Imports” as an issue. Watercolor is a paint that lends itself well to use in political cartoons. The spear of Donald’s money smashes a helpless baby elephant. Animal trophy killing had stopped for a while, but Trump made it legal again the week of 03/09/2018. Horrible damage is done yearly to animals by pollution, massive illegal poaching, and environmental damage. Do we really have to kill elephants with “legal” hunting on top of these problems? Hard to imagine any “case by case individual” moment when killing would ever be truly justified. These “individual cases” will fully be dictated by what rich hunter has cash to spend. This art print uses Artista watercolor on Strathmore watercolor paper, micron marker 03, and number 2 pencil.

This week I am updating my online art portfolio books, and trying to make a bit of art cash. Reminds me of this joke. I would be the Bill Gates of the museum world.
Made it to Cruxshadows last night! They played an hour away from my town, but the drive was worth it. Turns out the lead singer Rouge was born in Virginia near here. Small world! Too bad I had a hard time seeing sometimes due to a man in a white trench coat standing in front of me. Being short sucks at shows.
