  • Nightmare Floor Mat

    I got new Car Floor mats today! Woot! TNBC was all over clubs in Texas a few years back so it has sentimental value for me. Halloween car transformed! I drive for Uber Eats and Door Dash when I am not teaching, so I have to make my vehicle food-proof anyway. Seat and floor mat covers can be washed.

  • Alexandria’s Graduation Day Videos

    Alexandria’s Graduation Day Videos 2020. My daughter Alexandria graduated High School on Tuesday of this week in 2020. Despite the pandemic and riots of this year the walk across the stage and dinner party at the outside patios of Mellow Mushroom went well! I gave her many graduation gifts including an MP3 player and music box.

     

     

     

  • School Visit

    School visit with Alexandria to Fredericksburg, VA this weekend. Anne, Jean Brehm-stern, Alexandria and I all went on the road trip. Turns out it was a good time to get out of Richmond for a while. The weekend long protests and curfew now in effect are really taking a toll.

  • Scary Times

    I was working food delivery in downtown Richmond, VA right right before the riots. Rioters lighted 2 vehicles on fire, and there was shooting. Luckily I was not shot or hurt. People texted me to make sure I was okay in the morning, but I missed the worst of it. We live in scary times.

    My aunt Jeany is visiting from LA in two days. I am so excited! I have not heard from her in a while.

  • Typing Day

    Today is typing day. This new paper holder will hold my rough drafts in place as I type.

    Funny jokes of the week. I am very much in this boat.

  • Congratulations 2020

    Congratulations to my daughter Alexandria Menzies for graduating from Monican High School June 2nd 2020 on the honors program. She did not get a chance to say goodbye to anyone in the Senior class before the end of the school year. It was extra sad because she worked so hard to be an honors student. This is why I was so happy they decided to have mini ceremonies for some students so she does get to say goodbye a bit. She did get accepted to University and leaves for University in Fredricksburg, VA in the Fall.
