Too true.

I hate so much the nightmare of Virginia! I am often baffled at how much the music, dating, and friendship people disappoint me in comparison to Austin, Texas and New Orleans, Louisiana. Both are downtown areas I have had apartments in before living here. I lived by myself, and had no roommates. Then my mother literally kidnapped my daughter out of school illegally in Texas, and forced me to move to Virginia out of the blue with threats to my daughter. I beg Anne daily to move back home away from Virginia, and she never listens to me. My daughter proved she never loved me when she picked a Virginia school to graduate from with a degree. We could have had a shot at getting out of this horrible place, but unfortunately she has never lived in a better town in her adult life so she does not know what she is missing. Visits back to New Orleans and Austin are the only thing that keeps me hanging on to a sense of joy.

So long Residence Inn Marriott you were a good place to stay after the fire. However I have a new place to stay now, and have to move along.

Back in Black Number 1. Summer break at long last, and so I get to wear real concert T Shirts and good nail polish again.

Wild days at the end of the school year in North Chesterfield, VA. Teaching after the pandemic has challenges for sure!
