    This is my best video from the VNV Nation Electric Sun Tour concert. If you are anywhere near this tour you must go! They are a staple at Goth clubs in Seattle, but are Top 40 on radio overseas. Ronan Harris the lead singer got his eye hurt by a bright video light before this clip. He cussed at the video person. Then Ronan said. “Sorry but I am Irish and for us cussing is like punctuation!” I am from an Irish family too, and I can verify that this is freaking true. Sorry for the image quality but I was energetically dancing with joy the entire show. My legs are so sore it was like a million aerobic classes in one night, but so worth it. I love Silver Springs, MD and want to move there the show was so good.

    I made it to the VNV Nation concert! It is spring break for the school I teach at, and so I have been visiting friends in the Maryland area so I saw it at The Fillmore Silver Springs, MD. More pictures tomorrow!

    I had a great time seeing music concerts out of town this weekend. It is official music venues outside of Virginia have bounced back better after the pandemic. A guy even bought me free french fries so my weekend went extra well. The last few times I went out locally con-artists tried to rob me constantly so I am a travel fan now.

  • Tuesday Issue

    I graduated from Loyola University New Orleans and an issue with that is how massive my home sickness for the South is when the entire Internet shows me photos of how great was the Mardi Gras party I just missed. If I can’t get to my old apartment it is a reminder to get out to events more in the towns near me. That used to be my normal neighborhood, and I used to have that many guys to choose from for dating.

    Another Valentine’s Day alone in Virginia with no boyfriend or husband at all, and I hate being alone. I have a completed University degree from Loyola University New Orleans, but online dating apps and clubs have only introduced me to really abusive, mean, retarded, and dumb dates in Virginia. The worst I have seen with my eyeballs. Time for road trips.

    I had to do a temporary cancel on travel by Amtrak train and car pooling to see concerts as an Icy Death Snow Blast slammed Virginia a second week. If you can’t drive the roads or take trains well it is what it is, and you just have to deal with it.
