  • Hacked Again

My Facebook and some other accounts got hacked again this weekend. Evil spammers are being spammy with Spam email. Whatever you see for the next few days on my accounts may not be “me” online so don’t click any links. I will be battling to recover the account this week.

  • Avakin Obsessed

This week I am obsessed with the Avakin Life game online. It is like the Sims, but more fun. Also you can play Shoutcast with the game as a plus. Add me to friends with the code KCL-WPT and user poedaughter7. #addavakinuser

  • Memories of Headphones

This was me as a kid with headphones.

  • Shows are Back

At long last shows are back! I got to see Hocico, and Absynthe of Faith this week and it was so great! Unfortunately mean and vicious concert regulations in Virginia in the venue it was in said no photos so all I have for pictures is this ticket photo. Oh well at least I get a tiny hint of what other towns get for real music, and know what great albums to download now.

  • Article on the Why

At last an article in Independent UK by Kilander on why the Depp trial was held in Fairfax, Virginia. I never have seen anything saying the couple lived in, owned property, or was happy near Virginia so why the heck was there a trial there? Turns out a Virginia article started it all, and was on Virginia computer servers. Why did an Eastern article care so much about Hollywood drama, and a witch-hunt of pain? This sparked my recent theory that Virginia is where dreams go to be killed, and Virginia is trying to destroy all creativity and individuality in artists. In addition many articles say Depp’s team was trying to get the trial in Virginia due to an extreme bias in courts towards allowing abuse and harassment of women.

  • Concert Maps

I wish I was going to an Austin or New Orleans concert this week instead of a Virginia one, but at least I don’t need MapQuest to get there.

  • Birthday Massacre Norfolk Photos

I managed to catch the Norfolk show for Birthday Massacre at Elevation 27 club. The light show and sound system was amazing. 🤩 It made me want to visit Norfolk far more often. I got a hotel in town to avoid the traffic driving back. I was so happy to see live music again the band could have come out and kicked me in the head, and I still would have loved it. Seeing a really great new album performance was an extra bonus!

  • Concert Con Artists

Beware the concert con artists out there in March and April. This month many scammers in Virginia have tried to double and triple charge my credit cards for event tickets. Promoters went broke in the pandemic, and are resorting to vicious methods to make cash. This includes changing concert dates constantly, and then charging you twice for the “new” show you already paid for on your card. Below is a sample of one of them. I am going to go out of town for a while for events as Richmond has become a particularly vicious hot spot for fraud.

  • Strange Show Time Change

I see this link saying “Show for March Tickets Selling out now” on the Broadberry and buy tickets. I call to confirm show times at the venue and they say the show has been changed to 2023! Plus they changed the show day and time twice before that changeover, and I saved screenshots! Why would you even sell tickets for 2023 in 2022? In the same month? Be careful of “March Show” listings in Richmond. I am going to bad Yelp them so hard for the show they said was March 12 of 2022 on the first listing online. I was almost dressed up and at the venue with no show to go to before I found out about the new changed dates. 😮
I am trying to rebuild my social life after a divorce, cross-country move, and pandemic. Richmond is saying here’s stuff to do… psych… None for you!

  • Night Out March 2022

Me before a concert and dance night in downtown Richmond, Virginia Friday March 18, 2022. As I am badly missing the fun of Austin, TX my former home as it is SXSW Music Festival there I decided to catch some local music here. I took some filter free photos before the night out. I got a bit extra small at Anytime Fitness Gym this week, and figured I would show it off a bit.
