I went downtown to Richmond, VA for an event last night. Every good thing in downtown closed due to the pandemic, and what is left is ALL violent crackheads. Things were far better when the Nancy Raygun club was still open in Virginia. They knew how to book events, and actually list ticket and cover charge prices well. Nights as horrible as that one make solid my belief that I must buy an RV and travel far from Richmond on weekends to survive emotionally. It was a fully horrible weekend.
My faith in Virginia humanity has been somewhat restored as I had a great time out dancing and enjoying music last Friday. It has inspired me to get out and about locally for music more often this year.

For the Britney fans this week! It is so sad how she was dehumanized for money and manipulation. It is an all too common problem for powerful women. A real issue with healthcare and particularly mental healthcare is that calling people “normal” makes doctors NO money. It is therefore profitable to tell every person they need oceans of medication all the time. This opens the door to people dehumanizing high functioning people, and is a problem I have seen all too much of in life. Look at what happened to the daughter in the Kennedy family.

We literally rang in the New Year with jingle bells, cow bell, and a jam band of tambourine, synth, and bongos. We had a Partridge Family party for New Years. It turned out to be pretty fun. Downtown is my usual thing, but with a pandemic going on avoiding crowds is a life saver.
Glad I got my vote in against Trump yesterday. I did the early voting thing at the voting register location. Mail in voting in Virginia is becoming evil in this area.
