  • Skeeball Tonight

Headed out to Circuit Arcade for SkeeBall tonight. Why? Because Skeeball is a nightlife thing now. Skeeball has been a thing in the last 4 towns I visited so I don’t want to get beaten again.

  • Dating Hell is Virginia

Last night my Okcupid date texted me that he was too drunk to show up to our date. It was 7 PM. Virginia is Dating Hell. This is why I am always going on road-trips to other towns. Worse yet I did not earn any money for Uber as I dressed up trying to meet online dating guys downtown and NONE showed up. Men don’t do this in other towns. This place really is in fact seriously horrible!

Not only do I do podcasts now, but I also give a shout out to other podcasts and Internet music and book fans. Found one of my DJ friends Old School Goth remixes available for download on Podcast. DJ Oubliette rocking Halloween from back in the Dervish. Good times!

Eugene says he became interested in music in his childhood where he always carried a photo of his favorite female musician in his wallet. Eugene says he is influenced by dance music new and retro. I am the girl on his left in the photo above. He says he has journeyed the world in search of new dance music including a recent trip in the last 2 years to Norway to see music festivals. His music is influenced by a love of fantasy video games. In addition supernatural books and TV shows have inspired his musical tastes.

Yet to me this will always be the best Eugene mix. FTPA | Electrocast #19 – Halloween Interlude, let’s play it! http://zorak303.libsyn.com/webpage

  • Interview with Edward Santiago And Austin Halloween 2019

Movie script writer, book writer, and guitarist Edward Santiago granted me an interview on my last trip to Austin, TX for Halloween of 2019. I am the girl on his right in the photo below. We used to work together at Blizzard Entertainment in Austin doing game master help desk work for World of Warcraft. (I did this in the summer as temp work when I was not teaching.) He says it was hard work earning a number of degrees in writing for film, but worth it to teach students about writing in Austin, TX. He says he enjoys writing dramatic work, but fiction has captured his heart for entertainment writing. He says he has a large collection of fiction books, fiction book art prints, video game posters, and video games which my photos of his apartment verify. He says practices guitar regularly, but script writing is his main creative outlet.

  • Interview with Darren Quintinson 2018

    Darren D. July 12 2018

I ran into many old friends on my last trip to Austin, TX in 2018. One I had missed from the early 2000s was Darren Quintionson.

Darren is a music fan and promoter of the music venue The Elysium in Austin, TX. He says that he has traveled the world seeing shows since the early 2000s, including the Middle East and Europe. His favorite types of music include retro 80s, Metal, Black Metal, Synthpop, and electronic. He loves Austin, TX yet was originally from the San Antonio, TX area. He has written poetry for years, given many live poetry readings, and even regularly posted his poems to Livejournal in the early 2000s. His taste in music is greatly influenced by a love of fiction and sci-fi books and movies like HR Giger’s Aliens. He collects books, and is still a very active reader to this day.
