  • No Listing

Screen shot of no ticket or cover listing for an event downtown Saturday. The odd part is the event above charging cover DID list prices, and so unlisted prices below hints at NO cover charge. So I went to an event listing no cover charge, and they charged too much to get into the music show. I walked away and home. I had money on my credit cards, and could have used it if they warned me! I did not take them to save space. Many other people around me walked away sad making the same mistake mumbling in anger. No wonder your business is failing horribly as you don’t let customers in the doors to buy stuff. You missed my wallet buying things that week sucky venue, and many other wallets besides. If this sort of thing happened in Austin I would go to the many other fun nightlife “back up” places to go. I would hassle a few fun friends in text messages until they put me on the guest list. There are none here! A pit of vicious mean people. This is why I so desperately need an RV because completely horrible people run downtown in Richmond, Virginia. There is nothing to pick from in the horrible abuse nightmare dating pool of Virginia.

  • Logic Jokes

As a person who lived in New Orleans for years for school I find the storm jokes extra funny this year.

  • First Day Back

Today was my first day back teaching at Evergreen Elementary. The maps were confusing, but the students were great. 👍

  • 2021 Issues with Acorns

Acorns is a horrible banking and investment service. They charge strange fees at odd times. These fees then cause bounced checks on your bank account. I then pressed the “stop payment” button 8 times weeks ago. They tried to reactivate my account without authorization, and charged me again today. More fees was the result! I hate them with a burning passion. Unfortunately there is no Yelp for banking services so I have to blog it. When I checked on it there was nothing to warn me about these people sucking so incredibly bad. Here is your public service warning if you are thinking of starting an account: Acorns is Horrible.

  • Dropped Off

I dropped off Alexandria at school today. She was very happy to be back in Fredericksburg and back in classes.

  • Brother James

My brother James Menzies has flown in to live in Virginia. His photo is below with Anne on the left and Alexandria on the right. We are taking him out to dinner tonight. He is a retired Army veteran which served in many tours of duty in the Middle East. Boy does he have interesting ideas to say about the American pull out from Afghanistan this week.

Brother of Andrea Menzies named James Menzies visiting this weekend.
  • 2021 Music

My faith in Virginia humanity has been somewhat restored as I had a great time out dancing and enjoying music last Friday. It has inspired me to get out and about locally for music more often this year.

‘Yeah, well I’m sick of being so danged happy all the time.’
