  • The Stuff Now Over

I am so glad this stuff is over. After hearing all the mess my take is someone else hurt Depp’s wife and she is taking her anger out on Depp. In addition you don’t date Depp if you want someone super-normal in your life anyway, he was wild when she met him. She got caught doing fraud on the stand as well so it is hard to trust her take on things. It is good to have it all over at last, and very odd that it took place in Virginia to boot. It does show that my theory that something hate-filled and nightmarish really is going on in Virginia daily is not far-fetched.

  • Travel Dreams

I am having another week where I dream of traveling away from the horrible place known as Virginia. If is pretty true that I should never have let my family use coercion to make me move to a terrible state. All of my job paychecks are going into buying supplies to move far away from the really BAD situation here.

  • Kid Work

Before teaching Kindergarten I used to struggle to get 10 thousand steps a day. Now I hit 14 thousand steps before I even hit the gym. Kids are hard work.

  • The Planet’s Return

The Planet’s Return! I decided to return to Planet Fitness gym this week. It may have issues, but it was not as expensive as the money grubbing gyms I have been dealing with as an alternative. National chain gyms are great for road trips in RVs or traveling vans as you can shower at the gym as you travel minimizing the need for expensive hotel showers. I dream daily of leaving Virginia in an RV as I dislike my family moving to this area. I am a bit concerned that it has anti-crime logos everywhere as Planet Fitness gyms in Texas did NOT do that, and it hints at need for concern.

  • Strange but True

Strange but true right as my brother was visiting this week from out of town Facebook brought up an old photo of us as kids in the memories section. I am the kid in the middle, and on the far right is my sister Lily.

  • Changing Charmed

Watching Charmed the TV show when I was younger it seemed realistic. Now as a person who has lived in and near San Francisco I realize no three 20 year olds could afford a house that big. The lightning bolts, witch powers, and freezing time all seem realistic compared to the epic untruths inherent to the idea that three kids just over 18 could live alone in a huge house in downtown California. The girls in the show date 50 guys a month as no relatives, friends, or coworkers care at all. No one is stuck watching babies, or cleaning a house. Family fights last two seconds and blow over. By the end they own a music night club, and wear new clothes every episode as they barely show up to work. Forget the magic it is the frame tale that lacks any root at all in the real world. I found myself angry as I watched it, and couldn’t figure out why. Then I noticed I forgot this show was one big bull-bucket of lies told to young single women about ideal life.

  • Birthday Massacre Norfolk Photos

I managed to catch the Norfolk show for Birthday Massacre at Elevation 27 club. The light show and sound system was amazing. 🤩 It made me want to visit Norfolk far more often. I got a hotel in town to avoid the traffic driving back. I was so happy to see live music again the band could have come out and kicked me in the head, and I still would have loved it. Seeing a really great new album performance was an extra bonus!

  • Phone Change

The Sprint T-Mobile merger jacked my phone bill sky high. I am now shopping for a new phone. Friends may need to ask for my new phone number soon. I will keep two phones active for a while for the switch over.

  • Concert Con Artists

Beware the concert con artists out there in March and April. This month many scammers in Virginia have tried to double and triple charge my credit cards for event tickets. Promoters went broke in the pandemic, and are resorting to vicious methods to make cash. This includes changing concert dates constantly, and then charging you twice for the “new” show you already paid for on your card. Below is a sample of one of them. I am going to go out of town for a while for events as Richmond has become a particularly vicious hot spot for fraud.

  • Strange Show Time Change

I see this link saying “Show for March Tickets Selling out now” on the Broadberry and buy tickets. I call to confirm show times at the venue and they say the show has been changed to 2023! Plus they changed the show day and time twice before that changeover, and I saved screenshots! Why would you even sell tickets for 2023 in 2022? In the same month? Be careful of “March Show” listings in Richmond. I am going to bad Yelp them so hard for the show they said was March 12 of 2022 on the first listing online. I was almost dressed up and at the venue with no show to go to before I found out about the new changed dates. 😮
I am trying to rebuild my social life after a divorce, cross-country move, and pandemic. Richmond is saying here’s stuff to do… psych… None for you!
