A poem by Andrea Menzies
From my new book of poems I am going to publish online called “Poems From The Pain Hole: A Collection Of Poems About An Abuse Toilet That Claims To Be A State.”
All of Virginia is a nightmare hole of pain,
the agony is not hard to explain.
The second I leave it goes away,
Agony is Virginia’s game to play.
Ugly men and a pathetic music scene!
Symptom of a land eating women’s dreams!
I have not had one single happy memory in ya,
Ugly-ugly sewage hole called Virginia.
There is not one single good redeeming town
when first here I looked desperately around.
Now I know a future happy day
will only happen with Virginia far away.
Have not had one single happy memory in ya,
Ugly-ugly sewage hole called Virginia.
