    My medical grade insomnia started when I was raped and beaten at the military base called Fort Lee in Virginia in 2005 by military men. Why did they try to deploy me when I had not completed basic training or AIT they wanted to isolate a victim? Yes. Years worth of going to doctors did nothing to help the rape trauma, and doctors tried to dump horrible medication into my body with disgusting side effects which I would not need if I was not raped and beaten on a military base. It is a big part of why I hate Virginia with all my soul. It is also why I never date co-workers at all in my life now. Today a co-worker asked me. “What is wrong?” I wanted to say. “I have horrible nightmares as a rape victim and my family is forcing me to live in Virginia where it happened, and this is not making it any better.” What I said was. “I could not sleep great last night.” Another irony is my family have forced me to leave all my Texas and Louisiana friends behind to live in the area of Virginia where I was raped and beaten, and would be constantly reminded of being raped and beaten. Know that if a co-worker does not want to talk about her health problems at work she is not legally obligated to talk about them. Instead try harder to avoid situation where politicians allow rapists to flourish as Biden needed to change the laws on reporting rape in the military, and new politicians are threatening to roll back these protections in future years. Extremely relevant in an election year.

    Also note they did not change the rules because of one or two people. They changed the rules because the complaints were really common- place.

    My top 20 photos of the Sisters of Mercy show at Baltimore Sound Stage. The sound quality and light show was AMAZING!!! It is a band I have loved since I was a kid. Yet I had to leave early because the only parking I could find was in a two hour loading zone. Every other space cost $40 for ONE parking space which I could not do at all. If I had known parking was that wild I would have taken a Greyhound bus in from out of town. The Greyhound station was only 1 mile away from the venue, and a round trip ticket is cheaper than Baltimore parking.

  • Good Rehire

    Good news Chesterfield County Schools hired me back as a teacher! There was a pay and department location dispute, but it was resolved without issue and I am again a day teacher. In addition I am also employed by Amazon on a night shift job as I passed all physicals and drug and alcohol tests for many projects in 2022 and 2024. They drug and alcohol test at Amazon for all employment constantly, and I am still employed there. At last my bills are getting paid for the year just in time to buy a birthday gift for my daughter in full time school named Alexandria. It is her birthday this week in September. I wish I did not need two jobs to buy my daughter a gift, but it is what it is.

    In all fairness the musicians from Jane’s Addiction were never poster children for the image of mental stability. I don’t know how this is surprising to the music world. I loved their music as a teen, I had the Lollapalooza t-shirt, but they broke up because weird things were their normal life daily.

I am NOT just happy being alone I want to meet someone. You have to get out of the house and be social if you want to date someone in the modern day.

    There was a great show for Bellweather Syndicate at the Atlas show venue and video arcade in Washington DC Sunday the 1st. William and Scary Lady Sarah were there, and it was great to see them in person. I wished them a happy birthday on the Internet, but seeing them in person is always nice. I am so glad I got tickets and a chance to go. People were friendly and talkative. The pinball games were fun. As an added bonus it was across from a famous graveyard for pre-Halloween event photos. Blade was showing as the venue movie. Unfortunately epic rain hit the road so traffic was a nightmare even by DC standards both on the way there and back so I missed the first part of the show. Yet I saw the best part, and that was perfect.
