  • Music Past

    By Andrea Menzies

I am from Austin, TX. They have the logo of “Live Music Capital Of The World” everywhere as going to shows is a popular hobby people like. I am not an exception to this rule. As I have hated the abuse pit that is Virginia with all my soul it is good when shows give me a chance to get away to a better place.

  • 30 Thousand

    By Andrea Menzies

Woot! I made it to 30 thousand steps on Fitbit working for Amazon on Wednesday. I used to struggle to get to 10 thousand a day when doing teaching work. I had to take a break from teaching as they did not pay me 800 dollars of pay at Chesterfield Schools for work I did while trying to force me to become a bus driver, and my relatives have helped me contact lawyers on that issue. Meanwhile I have resumes out at other locations that use my completed University degree. Amazon heavily tested me for drugs and alcohol and I didn’t fail any of the tests, and so it is a good reference to have as abusive ex-employers and ex-boyfriends lately have tried to lie about my personal life.

  • Under 50

    By Andrea Menzies

Dear AARP I am not over age 50. I am under 50 by a wide margin. I checked my email at an older relative’s house computer, and now the magazine sends me hundreds of spam emails a week demanding I join. Quit it!

  • Tall Boots

    By Andrea Menzies

I hurt my ankle badly on the job last week, and it is my new plan to wear tall boots at work. Several online articles agree that tall boots provide better ankle support and prevent sprains better than low top shoes, and I have the ankles that need them. I had already bought tall work boots yet was going to wait until winter to wear them. I will sweat all summer to avoid a repeat on ankle crap. I could not do one tenth of the fun things I had planned for the weekend as ankle pain got in the way. I even got offered free concert tickets from online chat friends, and ankle pain mixed with hail and flooding got in the way of going there.

  • Travel Time

    By Andrea Menzies

Travel time for the show. I-95 can be a parking lot some days. However I am looking forward to some retro 90s and 80s fun. Lucky thing sitting down does not hurt ankles too badly. I will not be able to do too much stuff due to the hurt foot unfortunately.

  • Banned in Boston

    By Andrea Menzies

As the old saying goes if it is banned in Boston it will be a hit in Baltimore the next day. At last good music is going to Baltimore and DC once more which calls for music road trips.

  • Evil Mail

    By Andrea Menzies

The PO box service iPostal1 is I-fraudulent-1 in my book. If it was an Amazon product I would give it a 1 star review. I sell art, used products, books, and other things on eBay and other pages. I used my home apartment address years ago for mail once, and got gross stalking men hassling me for money and dates at my home. In addition I hate Virginia with all my soul as it is a garbage toilet, and have been paying to submit many job applications in other areas. Now I use PO boxes for online sales and returns as well as job applications. Many people are using PO boxes due to online shopping. I was using an expensive service, but thought iPostal1 would be cheaper. You have to pay a fee, then use an online notary also charging a fee so iPostal1 is still not cheap. You still have to use a home address as a base on iPostal1 another disadvantage. Then I sent many bits of mail to myself to test the PO box. No mail got to the iPostal1 box, I got no notice, and nothing was forwarded to me. Worst of all was the non-existent customer service which was a robotic voice that hung up on me 3 times. Chat messages never answered me. I wish more blogs were warning people how bad iPostal1 is so I could have saved myself the hassle and fees. I am still going to use a PO box again, but now I have to buy another one at an expense store. There is no point to a PO box that doesn’t ever give me mail. #iPostal1 is fraudulent #iPostal1 is a scam

    Lies they tell customers.
No agent ever got back to me.
