September means we are almost to October and Halloween!

Screen shot of no ticket or cover listing for an event downtown Saturday. The odd part is the event above charging cover DID list prices, and so unlisted prices below hints at NO cover charge. So I went to an event listing no cover charge, and they charged too much to get into the music show. I walked away and home. I had money on my credit cards, and could have used it if they warned me! I did not take them to save space. Many other people around me walked away sad making the same mistake mumbling in anger. No wonder your business is failing horribly as you don’t let customers in the doors to buy stuff. You missed my wallet buying things that week sucky venue, and many other wallets besides. If this sort of thing happened in Austin I would go to the many other fun nightlife “back up” places to go. I would hassle a few fun friends in text messages until they put me on the guest list. There are none here! A pit of vicious mean people. This is why I so desperately need an RV because completely horrible people run downtown in Richmond, Virginia. There is nothing to pick from in the horrible abuse nightmare dating pool of Virginia.

Today was my first day back teaching at Evergreen Elementary. The maps were confusing, but the students were great. 👍

I return back to teaching work this week. Boy am I happy to be going back to work. Looking for my work files after the pandemic has been tricky but fun.

I dropped off Alexandria at school today. She was very happy to be back in Fredericksburg and back in classes.

My faith in Virginia humanity has been somewhat restored as I had a great time out dancing and enjoying music last Friday. It has inspired me to get out and about locally for music more often this year.

Adventures in camping for me this week in the DC area. Van camping mixed with tents as I dodged the epic rain. All on national s’mores week as luck would have it.

Tips and Tricks: boiling old candle holders frees them up for new ritual candles. I just did a batch for the August 1st Harvest Festival Day.
