  • Interview with Darren Quintinson 2018

    I ran into many old friends on my last trip to Austin, TX in 2018. One I had missed from the early 2000s was Darren Quintionson.

    Darren is a music fan and promoter of the music venue The Elysium in Austin, TX. He says that he has traveled the world seeing shows since the early 2000s, including the Middle East and Europe. His favorite types of music include retro 80s, Metal, Black Metal, Synthpop, and electronic. He loves Austin, TX yet was originally from the San Antonio, TX area. He has written poetry for years, given many live poetry readings, and even regularly posted his poems to Livejournal in the early 2000s. His taste in music is greatly influenced by a love of fiction and sci-fi books and movies like HR Giger’s Aliens. He collects books, and is still a very active reader to this day.

  • Daily News

    In this photo I am getting the daily Newspaper New Orleans style. It has been a while since I purchased the New Orleans newspaper. This paper was next to the Trolley Stop restaurant which is newly renovated. In fact it was on a TV show with Gordon Ramsey that is rather infamous. My friend @zorak303 showed me the video on his TV at his place.     For Way-back Wednesday my most loved photo from graduation from when I went to years of school in New Orleans. I always get sentimental this time of year.

    Extra Uber driving this weekend because gas does not buy itself. Nothing will make you want a socialist revolution more than driving spoiled rich kids from nightclubs to the downtown condos their parents bought them as gifts. These same people will then yell loudly single mothers should not have healthcare.

    Re-watching the best cartoon bad guy ever as I pack for my New Orleans road trip in 6 more days. Funny thing about magic… Can’t conjure a THING for myself.

    Get a tomb. When your Halloween needs privacy.

  • Records

    I did not make this joke. Yet I do understand record obsessions. This week I got a record player that can make MP3 songs from records. Also I found out records I got from DJ Edminester still play well.

  • Record Player Working

    At long last my record player is working again! This one can make MP3 songs out of records.
