  • Elephant vs Alien

    Elephant vs Alien

    By Andrea M.

Every alien show says humans could not build large monolith buildings so aliens may have done it. They never mention many cultures had HUGE workhorse animals by the hundreds. Some even had trained elephants hauling wood and stones. Due to lack of antibiotics and food large human cities had only 50 or 60 people in most cultures 200 years ago or more. Each man could usually only lift around 200 pounds so HUMAN labor could not move things. However, huge stables of tamed horses, deer, elephants and other donkeys and llama existed all over the world humans could get animals to drag stones with large harnesses and ropes. Alien shows are fun to watch for pretty camera images, and pretty photos of interesting tourist destinations. I wish I could travel more frequently. I also think the government has been caught being less than truthful about many things, and we live in a time of caution and paranoia. I have watched a few alien shows, and I always detect the logic flaw of “only high tech can move things” which is never addressed. Without fossil fuel technology far more work animals were used in the past. With leverage, fulcrums, rope wheels, wooden rollers mixed in with the construction monolith stones could get moved, and they never mention this idea at all. Work horse transport had a second advantage, and there were few fatal wrecks. Horses have instincts that make them avoid running into other horses, and cars have none at all. With war being a modern problem with fossil fuel I almost envy times when loving furry animals for transportation was a social normalcy and not pollution making gasoline guzzling cars.

Old breeds of work horses and elephants are super huge and can lift large objects.

    Funny Alien Jokes

Sad, funny, and true jokes on the Internet this week. Funny in a social commentary way. I bought a “life is too short to die for oil” button as a kid, and it keeps being more true every year.

  • Scooters and Guns

    Scooters and Guns

    By Andrea Menzies

No matter what downtown you live near tiny electric scooters and gun violence are now normal. I thought I was living in the worst U.S.A. area, but then an old area I used to live in has suffered a bad shooting as well. Cold weather and a collapsing economy are making tempers flare in many areas. People want to blow off steam seeing music, but rent and parking downtown now seems to cost one million dollars. Uber and cabs are now extremely expensive. Music fans now park at a nearby hotel, and scooter a couple of miles into downtown areas. Unfortunately no area is safe anymore. The result is crime scene photos covered in tiny scooters that are a strange mix of the childlike and the morbid in one glance. I seriously do want to buy a tiny bike-scooter after seeing tiny scooters all over the last set of Austin music district murder photos. The scooter people were the ones that lived.

    So many scooters!
14 inch wheel E-Bike scooters are only 50 pounds, and 20 inch E-bikes are an unusable 200 pounds.

When Valentine’s Day is a bummer you must post jokes. Yes I am single with no relationship at all for Valentine’s Day.

  • Not Perfect

    Not Perfect

    By Andrea M.

It is okay not to be a perfect person, and to try to live again. I may have had problems in the past, but I made all A grades in my accredited night school master’s degree program in 2025 so that counts for something.

  • Wild Stories

    By Andrea Menzies

The Internet was telling wild stories about the halftime show on the 2026 Super Bowl. I have had some ex-boyfriends make up wild lies about me in the past, and was unpleasantly surprised by how people quickly believed wild stories from the Internet. Just because several people on the Internet tell a story does not make it true. The Bad Bunny halftime music quickly became a magnet for the same type of lies. It was fully surreal how weird stories were flying into being after a bit of costumes and dancing. It just shows people should not blindly believe Internet gossip and wild stories.

    Work Back

    By Andrea Menzies

I am so glad they are giving me more teaching work to do tomorrow. Snow days are fun at first, but the snowman company loses charms really fast after the first couple days. I am starting to understand why many really scary films have people being trapped in the snow as part of the plot.

  • Happy Groundhog Day

    Happy Groundhog Day

    By Andrea Menzies

Groundhog Day is February 2nd so Happy Groundhog Day to all! According to legend the groundhog runs from a shadow if there is going to be a long bad winter, and with the storms we just had here it is clear he will need Olympic grade running shoes for his shadow this year. Maybe a tiny racing motorcycle to escape the monster shadow.

  • More On AI

    By Andrea Menzies

Even more people have been blocked as AI that are not. One of the dangers of AI is that people will be banned and demonetized as AI falsely all over the net. Facebook has blocked me 4 times saying I am not me and am AI as of this week when I saw someone else being called not themselves.

  • No Speaker

    By Andrea Menzies

Everyone keeps trying to get me to work in Spanish speaking jobs this week. I do not speak Spanish. Any person in my family speaking Spanish learned it from a book. My parents worked travel jobs in France and Germany when I was a kid. They were both U.S. citizens born in the USA, and I was born on US soil. My passport says I am a US citizen. I mentioned to a few people I spoke other languages as a kid at lunch one day, and I am from Texas. The other languages were German and French as my dad worked in Germany. It is a seriously prejudice and disturbing trend I see in Virginia that they think all Texas people are originally from Mexico. You put me in a class filled with kids from Mexico they may get killed with me not understanding them at all in an emergency.

This is why I am leaving Facebook: A conversation someone said to me on there. Ronaldo AquinoIsn’t there an app or two for that? I saw this old Chinese woman using it with a nurse. Ronaldo Aquino Andrea Menzies It is slow as a nightmare to whip that out in class. Also students use slang that is not programed into apps so that is not a real option for teachers at all. I tried it and students misbehave like garbage ever second a teacher tries to use Google translate. Thank you for being an example of why I am quitting Facebook. Everyone criticizes me and gives me NOTHING but STUPID answers to my every statement.
