I am table decorating for Thanksgiving today. I can’t wait for Turkey Day with my daughter and nephews.
Rideshare drivers like myself are cleaning out their cars today. The second half of Thanksgiving is one of the top-earnings weekends of the year.
Baby Yoda may look like a Gremlin, but lets face it he IS really a part of the Dark Crystal. My Yoda theory is that I don’t think the link is “just luck” I think the Dark Crystal is really the origin story of the real Yoda even if baby Yoda looks like a Gremlin. Frank Oz was the voice of Yoda in the first films. “Star Wars creator George Lucas was an executive producer on the movie Labyrinth (1986), directed by Muppets creator Jim Henson. Jim Henson and Frank Oz also co-directed The Dark Crystal (1982), which was produced by Star Wars producer Gary Kurtz.” ( https://www.starwars.com/n…/star-wars-thet-muppet-connection ) It is made by the SAME people! ALL the same people! I think that the Dark Crystal was the story of Yoda, but they were thinking he lost “Mystery” when they made his story too clear so they changed the names at the last second. The powers of the “Dark” crystal sure do match the “Dark” side of the force. They never show Yoda on the planet of the Dark Crystal, but if he changed his name after healing the crystal and went off world, it could explain much of Yoda’s power.

I met up with Internet friends, and saw a good D.C. show. Xymox and Bellwether Syndicate play with the band Vosh at the Union in Washington DC.
Union stage in DC was amazing today! Met up with friends, and saw a great show.

I loved going to the show even if traffic and parking are a bit of a nightmare in DC in winter. I have collected music by both of the main bands for years, and so it was great to hear some of their new downloads live. Xymox’s base guitarist from Slovenia refused to play due to protest of the government in the USA. It is hard to see a show in Washington DC that is not on some level a protest show these days.

Still these bands still have the magic of the first shows I saw them play.

I am having a great day because I got good news from New Orleans this week. I don’t feel trapped in Virginia when there are other good places to go.
I am watching Star Trek Next Gen on Netflix, and I noticed Riker goes to New Orleans to hit on girls. Funny.

Virginia dating is by far the most horrible sewage anus-pit I have ever seen. This week most of all. I am feeling the after Halloween Happiness Void. Other towns were so great it makes Virginia look even MORE horrible in comparison. I WISH some of the profiles were this good! At first I had hope, but now I see I am going to have to be gone ALL the time to survive Virginia.
