I made it to the comedy and music show of Voltaire in New Orleans for “Devils Night” 2019 the night before Halloween at The Goat Club. I am glad I got tickets online before the show. In addition I posted photos of the downtown area around the Garden District and Quarter. There was cold ice rain for much of the trip, and so my outdoor activities were limited on this visit. Epic drive to Louisiana in shrimp county. This is my October journey for 2019. It is a good thing I do love shrimp or I would starve around here. 
Oh no car issues! Trip delayed by two days.
Oh no! Car troubles! I will have to wait a couple of days to get it fixed to go! Oh well Halloween night is not until Thursday. Good thing I started out extra early. I still can’t wait for Halloween. Richmond does have a few costume contests I did want to check out. Plus Richmond has a few concerts and DJs to check out in addition. It will not be a Halloween free weekend.
It is with great euphoria that I reach one of the parts of the year when I can get back to New Orleans and Austin! And get the crap OUT of Virginia! I want to be to the towns, but I do NOT look forward to the travel.
The part of Virginia I sometimes hate, is there is NEVER anyone good to date. I never have issues outside of Virginia. Virginia just lacks any kind of a good dating world AT ALL! I am just going to need to leave town ALL the time!
Many thanks to my family for helping me to collect supplies for the road trip. For a couple of weeks I will be seeing the towns I am so homesick for missing daily. Things are on schedule for Friday.

Today Alexandria joined the Senior Class of Monacan High School. I dislike the nightmare pit of Virginia, but I like that Alexandria is doing well! I tell her daily that if she loves her mommy she will help move her away from here. So far she is doing a great job! This will NOT be an area I visit back to when I leave. At least this week I was able to get my mom to buy an RV Van so that we can leave town more often so that I can survive for a while in this bad crime area. It is NOT what I was used to in Texas.

I admit the fact that I love Virginia way more now that I have been paid once at a new job. They say money is not everything, but just try living without it.
